Who we are
Irish Families Through Surrogacy (IFTS) is a group of Irish parents who have had or are planning to have children through surrogacy. We are a voluntary organisation, campaigning for our children and future children born through surrogacy to have the protection and benefits of a legally recognised relationship with both parents like all other Irish children.
Legislation CampaignOur current focus is on the the upcoming Health Bill (2022) to legislate appropriately for domestic surrogacy and legislate for international surrogacy with a focus on the existing children that were born via surrogacy and have no legal recognition with one of their parent.
Support for ParentsWe have a community of parents and intended parents that are helping each other on their pregnancy journey and beyond.
